BloresHill-SignAdele and I are organising a MOA trip to East Gippsland over the Labour Day long weekend in March (10th-12th). I shall have more details of the trip & meeting point etc. in the February edition of Tracks, but the plan at the moment is Saturday, head to Blores Hill Camping Ground near Glenmaggie via lots of back roads (North of Highway). Blores Hill has tent camping or 15 bunkhouse cabins, so no need to take all gear if you choose a cabin. Heyfield & Maffra are nearby which have the usual food shops, pubs etc.

Sunday, we will head to Paynesville and catch up with the MOA members and Moke owners that are in the Paynesville area, about 6-8 mokees. Have a BBQ lunch with them and maybe a quick convoy around town or further afield then back to Blores Hill via back roads again, its about 1.5 hours from Blores Hill to Paynesville Monday, we will be heading back home, again via back roads (South of Highway) and we'll drop in on a fellow moker in Trafalgar and have a look at his interesting collection of Furhpy Water tanks and memorabilia.

Blores Hill will cost about $25 per adult for the bunk house, $13 per adult for tent site per night. There is a surcharge for credit cards payments. The bunk house's are pretty basic, you'll need to bring all sleeping & cooking gear, esky etc, there are toilets and showers within the park. The owner is also a nice bloke who happens to own a moke.
