A Run In The Hills Trip "A" Saturday 7th November
This is the run in November for a days touring in the Yarra Valley and Yarra State Forest travelling a wide variety of roads guaranteed to keep a driver interested,
along the way visiting a number of interesting sites as part of the adventure.
MEETING POINT
The Olinda Creek Hotel (service road) Main St Lilydale at 8-45 for a 9-15 sharp departure....good coffee across the road and with a full tank of fuel.
For the day bring your lunch, snacks coffee or tea and water as there are no shops where will be and don't forget your chair.
AND you will need shoes/ boots for walking (yep).

No 1.....The look out platform at Mt.........at 1000mts above sea level offers views on a clear day to Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne CBD and the You Yangs, there is a 1.7kms return walk rated as easy for most with one steeper section.
No 2.....This observation tower on Mt........is even higher at almost 1300mts above sea level with views to match of The Yarra Valley, Melbourne's skyline and
to the Alps, no walking for this view but there are stairs....all 120 to the top.

So as you can see this is a day full of great roads and views with a bit of walking, but l have saved a couple more for the day as extras......should be back at
Lilydale around 4pm
